Buyers now ask for structured records over email and chat, and name the industries they want

Troveo says that, as of late 2026, buyers ask for structured data more than text: engineering and design files, Jira tickets and project boards, large databases and ERP systems, and finance records from tools like QuickBooks are in higher demand than email and Slack, and the industries paying most are the sciences and hard engineering, high-end technology, legal, finance, healthcare, manufacturing and logistics. Collinear now publishes what it is buying: healthcare operations, banking and lending, legal, construction and capital projects, security operations, marketing operations, and engineering design and CAD. DataVendor says it sees strong demand for enterprise software codebases and for cybersecurity, legal and finance data. Each is the firm's own account of its buyers, with no price attached.
