Records / Negotiation levers

Do not lead with the claim that structured systems outrank email and chat: no buyer attaches a price to it, and the two estimators that weigh systems pay as much for documents and communications

Troveo, Collinear and DataVendor say buyers want structured records, and none gives a price for the difference. Troveo's sentence sits in a page about how fast an in-demand dataset reaches its first paid deal (under a month of signing), not about price; Collinear's page lists both code and Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce, Linear and Jira history among what it licenses, and says what raises the price is people, years, pull requests with their tickets, human-written code and the same work visible across tools. Of the buyer estimators, only Ooak and Grepped's instant quote change with the kind of system. Ooak's code halves a company's figure when it holds no document store (Google Drive or SharePoint), halves it again when it holds no Gmail, Slack or Teams, and adds 10 percent for a code host; other systems count only as one more tool. So the same 51 to 100 person operating company with 4 or more years of history is $75k to $105k with Google Drive, Gmail and Slack, $21k to $29k with Jira, GitHub and HubSpot, $28k to $40k with six code, ticket and CRM tools and $101k to $143k with six document and communication tools. Grepped gives 18 points each to CRM, accounting or ERP, code and CAD, 14 to email, team chat, support tickets and call recordings, 10 to databases, orders and contracts, 12 to field operations, 9 to files and to projects and wiki, and 7 to HR: its ten structured sources average 13.5 points, email, team chat and calls 14. The one per-system build-up on a broker's page, Corpus Bridge's illustration for a fictional logistics company, puts email and Slack at $41,000 and $38,000 (52 percent of $152,700) and 96k Zendesk tickets at $27,500, so a ticket is priced at about 29 cents against 2 cents for an email, while the company holds about 22 times as many emails. Mercor's 25 listing ranges are per kind of company, not per form: the nine whose records are mostly systems of record, measurements or code have a median range of $50K to $865K, the four whose records are mostly documents, correspondence and calls $75K to $600K, and the ranges overlap.
