Since June 2025 Finland's Kopiosto has added a category of rights for the training and development of artificial intelligence to the grant of rights creators sign, so it can license that use and act against unauthorised use. A licence is drawn up only if the creators and rightsholders wish it, its terms are decided by the 44 member organisations, and a creator may exclude a work.
