A marketplace's share of AI-licence revenue is set by volume or taken as a condition, not priced as an exclusivity option

Where marketplaces publish how they pay contributors for AI licences, none ties the share to exclusivity. Shutterstock pays a 20 percent average royalty on data-licence revenue, split by the volume of each contributor's content in the datasets sold. TurboSquid, a Shutterstock company, pays a Data Licensing Partner 50 percent and a Participant 20 percent of data-licence revenue (a Partner has uploaded at least 12 qualifying assets in the last 90 days), evaluated separately from its exclusive SquidGuild, which pays exclusive artists 50 to 60 percent against 40 percent on ordinary 3D sales. Newsflare asks for footage to be exclusive to it for AI licensing and splits revenue 50:50, with no non-exclusive rate on its AI page. So the 1.25 to 1.94 times that platforms pay for exclusive supply in ordinary sales does not show in what they pay for AI licences: exclusivity there is a condition or is irrelevant to the share.
