Copyright Act 2021, section 244: copying for computational data analysis, with no onward supply to others (Copyright Act 2021 (2020 Revised Edition), s. 244(1)-(2))
Singapore has a text-and-data-mining style exception for copying works to train or analyse with a computer program, but only for the person who has lawful access and only if it does not supply the copy onward (except for verification or collaborative research). It is a copyright rule, does not touch the PDPA, and does not authorise a holder to supply a dataset to a buyer.
