Autodesk: customers may train AI on their own models and data (Autodesk newsroom, What you need to know: Updates to Autodesk's Terms of Use, APS Terms of Service, and Acceptable Use Policy, 8 December 2025)

In its own summary of the December 2025 terms update, Autodesk says customers may train AI on their own models and data, and that the scraping and data mining limits apply to Autodesk content and licensed content, not to customer content. It is a news post and not the contract, so a seller should rely on the Acceptable Use Policy text and ask Autodesk when a buyer's use is close to copying Autodesk products.
