Public prices involving Hilco Global
- Rite Aid's remaining intangible assets in Chapter 11, sold in a single transaction to Rite Aid LLC (also known as PMDLabs Inc.): the RiteAid.com website and domain names, the Rite Aid brand and owned private-label brands, mobile applications and social media accounts, and front-end retail consumer loyalty data. The price is for the whole bundle.
The seller's sale agent (Hilco IP Services) states the price after 'a competitive auction with multiple qualified bidders'; Bloomberg Law independently reported the sale filing of 5 Dec 2025 (buyer Rite Aid LLC, also known as PMDLabs Inc., per the asset purchase agreement) with the sale hearing set for 15 Dec 2025, so court approval and closing were not read here. Customer loyalty data is one of several assets, and the debtors' application describes it as not including pharmacy customer data.
The payer's own page, Hilco Global (Hilco IP Services), Rite Aid intellectual property case study; sale filing reported by Bloomberg Law, 'Rite Aid Seeks Nod on $7.8 Million Intellectual Property Sale' (8 Dec 2025)
$7.8 millionper single-transaction sale of one company's brand, website and customer loyalty data (bundle)
- Nikola Corporation (Chapter 11, D. Del. 25-10258): its intangible assets, including web-based and mobile software applications, data analytics and related IP supporting its fuel-cell and battery-electric truck fleet, plus patents, trademarks and domain names, sold in a parallel IP sale run by Hilco Streambank
Status: bankrupt. Stated by the sales agent on its own page; the sale order was not read (Nikola's sale motion is Doc. 15 on its docket). The page counts 'over a dozen non-binding offers across various intangible and tangible asset groupings' and says the deal closed in August 2025. The buyers are not named.
The payer's own page, Hilco Global (Hilco Streambank), closed deal page: Nikola Corporation
$1.4 millionper sale of one bankrupt company's intangible assets (software, data analytics, patents, marks)
- Brevity Ventures (video-transport technology company, a Chapter 11 debtor in Delaware per the agent, with an assignee involved): its intellectual property assets (patents, proprietary software modules, domain names, customer contracts) sold at auction to AllDigital Holdings, Inc. through Hilco Streambank
Status: bankrupt. Stated by the sales agent on its own page. The sale date is not on the page, so the date is the month the page was first published (Sep 2021) and the sale was on or before it. The page says the company was a Chapter 11 debtor in Delaware and also that Hilco helped 'the assignee'; the order and agreement were not read. A stalking horse bid and five more qualified bidders led to an auction between two interested companies.
The payer's own page, Hilco Global (Hilco Streambank), closed deal page: Brevity
$400,000per sale of one company's IP assets (patents and software modules)
- Sitehands (Chapter 7, S.D.N.Y. 20-12876): the gig/task platform software (an on-demand IT field-services platform that supported hundreds of clients and more than 20,000 service providers) and related intellectual property assets, sold by the Chapter 7 trustee to Genesis Incubator LLC after a sealed-bid auction run by Hilco Streambank
Status: bankrupt (Chapter 7 filed Dec 2020; trustee Salvatore LaMonica). Stated by the trustee's sales agent on its own page; the sale order was not read. More than 170 buyers were contacted, more than a dozen signed an NDA, 2 qualified bids came in. The company had $51 million of revenue in 2019, so this platform had run at scale. Older than the 2023 to 2026 rows; kept as the highest-priced small-company software lot found.
The payer's own page, Hilco Global (Hilco Streambank), closed deal page: Sitehands
$601,999.99per sale of one closed company's software platform and related IP
